A staged conversion of an industrial building into an office space within a tight timeframe

With the 17 Ihakara Street Project, we were asked to provide a turnkey solution that would transform an existing garage shell into an office space for a future tenant.

The project was staged, and the first part included extending and re-pitching the front canopy, replacing some windows, and installing a new kitchen, toilets and meeting rooms.

One of the key project goals was to complete the new office space within a tight and non-negotiable timeframe, as the future tenant’s old lease was expiring. This required strong communication, with regular project updates provided to the client and their tenant. This allowed us to meet their expectations and successfully deliver the project within their timeline. 

The project also required working around an existing tenant, ensuring noisy works were completed outside of their business hours.
