This refurbishment and upgrade of an existing animal management centre was hugely rewarding, as we were able to refurbish 15 kennels, an outdoor yard and a new vet examination room and office fit out to a high standard. 

The new shelter has special features like heaters and access to feed the dogs without having to enter the runs. Darren Gray, Senior Public Spaces Animal Management Officer at Kāpiti District Council says, “It’s like a five-star hotel for a dog…It’s made the shelter a more exciting place for us to work in.”
